The Revolution / long version (24'28'')

The Revolution / short version (10'00'')

The Egyptian have won their protest eventually. Many people didn’t believe there’s a revolution afterward at the first place. However, Egyptian impressively showed their revolution to not only Egypt but also the rest of the world.

I have to say I’m not into politics, at all. However I was so worry about my friends in Egypt during the protest. Then I started to follow the news on the websites. Finally, I was inspired. I decided to make a radio feature about this topic, even if it’s not for my course work, I told myself in the beginning: I’m gonna do it! I’m gonna do it! ...Then I did.

Many huge thanks to my interviewees! I could do nothing without them, really. Thanks for sharing your time and your stories, which were keeping me up day and night to edit the pieces. Thank you, Sara, Sarah, Katan, Moustafa! (Unnamed surnames for security reason)

A special thanks to Alan Hall, my tutor. I wouldn’t be able to hand in the 10 minutes version as my course work without his encouragement. The short version was finished in a rush because it was a last minute work, however I tried to make the longer version better to make up the listeners.

So, the longer version, not full version but it’s the final version and it’s lasts 24 minutes. I planed to make it half an hour long at the first place, but no, it doesn’t work(from structure perspective). I suggest to listen the longer version if there’s any chance you may interest in the topic.

Last but not the least, thank you very much my friends, who are always beside me and support me!
